QR codes that never expire.

Make a QR code for a link, your wifi, a contact card or a phone number. The real address is printed inside the code, so it keeps working forever.

What should the code do?

Pick what happens when someone scans it.

Fill in the details

Your code updates as you type.

Stamp remembers your recent codes in this browser, so you can reopen and reprint them. Nothing is uploaded.

A QR code you can print and forget

Many “free” QR sites send scans through their own server, then switch your code off once you have printed it unless you pay. Stamp writes the real address straight into the code, so there is nothing to switch off.

Never expires

A static code holds your link itself. It keeps working for as long as the link does, with no account to keep paying for.

No middleman

Scans go straight to your link. Nobody tracks who scanned, and no ad page appears first.

Print ready

Download a sharp PNG or SVG at any size, or print a clean sheet with a caption in one click.

Six kinds of code

Links, wifi logins, contact cards, emails, phone calls and plain text. Guests can join your wifi without typing a password.

Built-in scan check

If your colours are too faint or inverted for phones to read, Stamp warns you before you print.

Private

The code is made in your browser. What you type is never sent anywhere.

Questions

Do these QR codes expire?

No. Stamp makes static codes: the address is stored inside the pattern itself, so there is no server that can be switched off. The code works as long as the link it points to works.

Can I change where the code points after printing?

No, and that is the trade-off. Changing a printed code needs a redirect server, and redirect servers are how other sites hold codes hostage. If you need to change it later, point the code at a page you control and update that page.

How do I make a wifi QR code?

Pick Join wifi, type your network name and password, and download. Most iPhones and Android phones will offer to join the network when they scan it.

What size should I print it?

At least 2 cm (about 0.8 inch) across for something scanned up close, like a table card. For a poster read from a few metres away, go 10 cm or bigger. Download Large for anything printed big.

Is Stamp really free for business use?

Yes. Menus, flyers, packaging, signs. There are no limits and no watermark.
