Optional Smarter ranking with your own AI key
Scout works without this. With a key, an AI model re-ranks your top matches and explains each one. It is sent a short profile (wanted roles, skills, countries, never your name, email or phone) and the job titles and skills. It goes straight from your browser to the provider you choose. Their pricing and privacy terms apply.
Your matches
Your matches will appear here.
Job search without the noise
Job boards are full of reposted, expired and ghost listings, and most job tools want your email first. Scout reads only employers' own job pages, checks each opening against what you told it, and tells you why it matched.
Straight from employers
Every job comes from the company's own job board, the same one their careers page uses. You apply on their site, not through us.
Your CV stays with you
Scout reads your PDF in your browser. It is never uploaded, stored on a server or shared with recruiters.
Honest filters
Wrong country, not remote, no visa sponsorship: Scout sets those aside and tells you how many, instead of hiding them silently.
A reason for every match
Each result says which of your skills and wanted roles it lines up with, and flags anything that might not fit.
Optional AI, your key
Add an OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, Groq or OpenRouter key to have AI re-rank your top matches. Without one, Scout works the same, by clear rules.
Save searches
Save a search and run it again later. Scout marks the jobs that are new since you last looked.
Questions
Where do the jobs come from?
From the public job boards of over 150 employers, read through the same systems their own careers pages use (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, Workable and Recruitee). The list is rebuilt regularly, and the date of the last update is shown above the tool.
Is my CV uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF is read by code running in your browser. Only your answers, like the roles and skills you want, are remembered on your device so you do not have to retype them.
Why don't I see jobs from every company?
Scout only includes employers whose job boards are public. Jobs listed only on LinkedIn, and many large corporate careers sites, cannot appear. The list leans towards tech, startups and remote work, and Scout says so.
Does Scout apply for me?
No. You apply on the employer's own site. Scout never sends anything on your behalf.
How does the AI option work?
If you add your own key, Scout sends a short profile with your wanted roles, skills and countries, never your name or contact details, plus your top matches, straight from your browser to the provider you pick. The model re-ranks them and explains each one. Scout checks its answer and falls back to rule-based ranking if the reply is unusable.
