Your time on it
Every cost, not just the plastic
Slicers tell you what the filament costs. That is usually the smallest part of the bill. Brim adds the electricity, wear on the printer, repairs, failed prints and your own time, and shows the maths for each line.

| Filament | Yes | Yes |

Questions
How much should I charge for a 3D print?
At least your break-even: filament, electricity, printer wear, repairs, a failure buffer and your time. Then add a markup for profit. Brim works out both from your own numbers.
How do I work out filament cost per print?
Grams used times spool price, divided by spool weight. A 120 g print from a 1 kg spool that cost 22 is 120 x 22 / 1000 = 2.64. Your slicer shows the grams.
How much electricity does a 3D printer use?
Many hobby printers average 100 to 150 watts while printing, though heated beds and enclosures change that. A smart plug gives you your real figure. Brim multiplies watts by hours by your rate per kWh.
What is printer depreciation?
Your printer wears out. If it cost 1,000 and lasts about 5,000 print hours, each hour of printing uses up 0.20 of it. Brim adds that per job.
Does Brim work in my currency?
